"Growth happens in relationship."

Finding Belonging (Residential Retreat – UK)
Theme:
"Coming together in community."
10–15 women.
The residential becomes something people aspire to.
Because relationships have already begun online, arriving in person doesn't feel frightening.
People meet old friends rather than strangers.
Finding Strength (Online Weekend)
Theme:
"Making meaning together."
Focus:
There are three circles of participation.
Women who attend one retreat because that's what they need.
No obligation.
No pressure.
Women who come back throughout the year.
They naturally become familiar faces.
They help welcome newer participants.
Community starts forming.
Women who have attended several retreats and feel ready to give back.
They may become:

They begin volunteering.
The following year they're co-hosting circles.
The year after that they're presenting at a FARA conference.
That's exactly what Open Dialogue and relational practice teach us: people don't simply receive support—they become part of a community that supports others.
A 90-minute online community gathering.
No teaching.
No agenda.
Just connection.
A Peer Dialogue.
People stay connected.
Relationships continue.
Throughout the year women can choose to take part in:
We are a living community, that women can return to, contribute to and help shape over time. Not a collection of events, FARA is about creating communities where people stay.
The website should feel like a global women’s healing and education organisation. It should be warm and relational but also powerful, informed and change focused. The central message is that women and girls are more than their trauma.
FARA does not define women by what happened to them — it supports them to reclaim identity, dignity, voice and future.
