FARA is built on relationships, collaboration and community. Whether you have lived experience, professional expertise, research interests or simply share our vision for a more compassionate and just world for women and girls, there is a place for you within FARA.
Join a growing network of women, professionals, educators, researchers, organisations and allies committed to creating lasting change through dialogue, learning and relational practice.
As FARA grows, we will be developing volunteer opportunities across community engagement, events, fundraising, communications and administration. We welcome people who want to contribute their time, skills and experience.
We believe lasting change happens through collaboration. We welcome partnerships with charities, universities, healthcare organisations, schools, businesses and community groups who share our commitment to improving the lives of women and girls.
Your support enables us to develop educational programmes, community initiatives, research, advocacy and opportunities for women and girls to connect, heal and flourish.

The website should feel like a global women’s healing and education organisation. It should be warm and relational but also powerful, informed and change focused. The central message is that women and girls are more than their trauma.
FARA does not define women by what happened to them — it supports them to reclaim identity, dignity, voice and future.
